How it works
Adicoff P Syrup is an antiallergic medication. When your body is exposed to an allergen (pollen, animal dander, house dust etc.), it produces a chemical called histamine. This causes watery eyes, runny or blocked nose, sneezing, skin rashes, itching etc. Adicoff P Syrup works by blocking the action of histamine, thereby relieving these symptoms.
Alcohol
UNSAFE - Adicoff P Syrup may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Pregnancy
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Adicoff P Syrup is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Breast feeding

Driving
UNSAFE - Adicoff P Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Adicoff P Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Adicoff P Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Use of Adicoff P Syrup may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION - Adicoff P Syrup should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Adicoff P Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Limited information is available on the use of Adicoff P Syrup in patients with liver disease.
What If You Forget to take Adicoff P Syrup?
If you miss a dose of Adicoff P Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
