It works by lowering your immune system?s response to these conditions and prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. It helps relieve symptoms such as swelling, pain, itching, and other allergic-type reactions. If you are not sure why you are being given this medicine, ask your doctor. This medicine is given orally (by mouth). You should always take it as it has been prescribed for you. Do not stop taking it without your doctor?s advice. This can cause unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Because this medicine weakens your immune system, you should avoid being near people who are ill or have infections.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.

Alcohol
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Alermine 2mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Pregnancy

Breast feeding
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Alermine 2mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Larger doses or prolonged use of Alermine 2mg Tablet may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
Driving
Not Safe: Alermine 2mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
Seek medical advice from your doctor: There is limited information available on the use of Alermine 2mg Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
Liver
Seek medical advice from your doctor: There is limited information available on the use of Alermine 2mg Tablet in patients with liver disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Alermine 2mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C
Avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery as it may decrease alertness. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Alermine 2mg Tablet, as it may cause excessive sleepiness or drowsiness. Alermine 2mg Tablet should not be used in children less than 12 years of age. Patients with other underlying medical conditions must consult their doctor before taking Alermine 2mg Tablet. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should not take this medicine unless prescribed by a doctor. Alermine 2mg Tablet should not be taken by patients taking Monoamine oxidase inhibitors, such as isocarboxazid, phenelzine, tranylcypromine, etc.
