How it works
Alexi-DX 250mg/250mg Injection is a combination of two antibiotics: Amoxycillin and Dicloxacillin. These antibiotics work by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Alexi-DX 250mg/250mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Alexi-DX 250mg/250mg Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
UNSAFE - Alexi-DX 250mg/250mg Injection may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Alexi-DX 250mg/250mg Injection can have side effects and the symptoms (such as allergic reactions, dizziness and convulsions) may make you unfit to drive.
CAUTION - Alexi-DX 250mg/250mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Alexi-DX 250mg/250mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
CAUTION - Alexi-DX 250mg/250mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Alexi-DX 250mg/250mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended while you are taking this medicine
