Pain relief

In Pain relief Andic-D Tablet relieves pain, reduce swelling and ease inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondolytis. It also gives relief from muscle and back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat. It works by reducing substances in the body that causes pain and swelling. Take it as prescribed to get the most benefit. This will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Vomiting, Indigestion, Stomach pain, Loss of appetite, Dizziness, Sleepiness, Heartburn']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Andic-D Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Andic-D Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Diclofenac, Paracetamol and Dextropropoxyphene. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) as well as an antipyretic (fever reducer). Diclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID). Together, both of them work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain. Dextropropoxyphene is an opioid analgesic ( very strong pain reliever) which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower the pain perception.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Andic-D Tablet.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Andic-D Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Andic-D Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Even small doses of Andic-D Tablet can cause infant sleepiness and decreased/altered brain function.

Driving

UNSAFE - Andic-D Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Andic-D Tablet may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

CAUTION - Andic-D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Andic-D Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Andic-D Tablet is not recommended in patients with end stage kidney disease.

Liver

CAUTION - Andic-D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Andic-D Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Andic-D Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
