How to use

How it works
Ashmont Total 75mg/5mg/10mg Tablet SR is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, Levocetirizine and Montelukast. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose and improves your symptoms.
CAUTION - Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Ashmont Total 75mg/5mg/10mg Tablet SR. Please consult your doctor.

Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Ashmont Total 75mg/5mg/10mg Tablet SR is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
UNSAFE - Ashmont Total 75mg/5mg/10mg Tablet SR may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
CAUTION - Ashmont Total 75mg/5mg/10mg Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ashmont Total 75mg/5mg/10mg Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Ashmont Total 75mg/5mg/10mg Tablet SR is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
CAUTION - Ashmont Total 75mg/5mg/10mg Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ashmont Total 75mg/5mg/10mg Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
What if I forget to take it?
If you miss a dose of Ashmont Total 75mg/5mg/10mg Tablet SR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
