Atq Tablet is a medicine used to treat high cholesterol. Atq Tablet is a combination medicine that reduces "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides (fats) levels. This medicine also helps to reduce risk of heart attack and stroke. Atq Tablet can be taken with food. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on what you are being treated for. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. You can help this medicine work better by making a few changes to your lifestyle such as keeping active, stopping smoking, eating a healthy low-fat diet and exercise regularly. Nausea, stomach pain, constipation, and muscle pain are some common side effects of this medicine. These are usually mild but let your doctor know if they bother you or last more than a few days. Let your doctor know if you notice yellowing of skin or eyes, unusually dark urine or dark stools as it might be symptoms of liver damage. You may be asked for regular monitoring of blood sugar level, blood pressure, and liver function while taking this medicine. Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any kidney or liver problems or high blood pressure. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking it. How it works
Atq Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and Coenzyme Q10 which treat high cholesterol. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Coenzyme Q10 is added as correcting its deficiency helps relieve muscle pain induced by Atorvastatin.
Alcohol
UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Atq Tablet.
Pregnancy
UNSAFE - Atq Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Breast feeding
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Atq Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Driving
UNSAFE - Atq Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney

Liver

What If You Forget to take Atq Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Atq Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
