Pain relief

In Pain relief Avadase MR Tablet relieves pain, reduce swelling and ease inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondolytis. It also gives relief from muscle and back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat. This medicine also contains an active ingredient called Serratiopeptidase, which is an enzyme that promotes the overall healing process and speeds up recovery. It also relaxes stiff muscles and helps in easy movement. Take it as it is prescribed to get the most benefit. This will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Vomiting, Diarrhea, Stomach pain, Loss of appetite, Weakness, Sleepiness, Heartburn, Dryness in mouth']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Avadase MR Tablet is to be taken with food.

Avadase MR Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Diclofenac, Serratiopeptidase and Tizanidine which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and inflammation (redness). Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme which works by breaking down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation, and promotes healing. Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Avadase MR Tablet.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Avadase MR Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Information regarding the use of Avadase MR Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.

Driving

UNSAFE - Avadase MR Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Avadase MR Tablet may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

CAUTION - Avadase MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Avadase MR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - Avadase MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Avadase MR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Avadase MR Tablet is not advised in patients with severe liver disease. Liver function tests are recommended before the start of treatment and then on a regular basis as advised.

If you miss a dose of Avadase MR Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
