Avidip M 5mg/2.5mg Tablet relaxes the muscles in your stomach and gut(intestine) and relieves these symptoms effectively. Usually, it is used along with other medicines for the management of your condition. Continue taking it for as long as the doctor may advise you to. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it. Take a fiber-rich diet, avoid oily or spicy food and drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Avidip M 5mg/2.5mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Avidip M 5mg/2.5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Chlordiazepoxide and Clidinium. Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Clidinium works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms) which in turn relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.
UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Avidip M 5mg/2.5mg Tablet.
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Avidip M 5mg/2.5mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Avidip M 5mg/2.5mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
UNSAFE - Avidip M 5mg/2.5mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. As Avidip M 5mg/2.5mg Tablet may make you feel drowsy or affect your concentration and this may affect your ability to drive.
CAUTION - Avidip M 5mg/2.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Avidip M 5mg/2.5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Avidip M 5mg/2.5mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
