This combination medicine can be used to treat many different bacterial infections. Avoxime AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Avoxime AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefixime and Azithromycin. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. Azithromycin stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Avoxime AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Avoxime AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Avoxime AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.
SAFE - Avoxime AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
CAUTION - Avoxime AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Avoxime AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
