It works by stopping the growth of the bacteria. Axime-O Tablet also restores the level of good bacteria in your stomach and thus prevents stomach upset due to the antibiotics. It is advisable to continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed.

How Axime-O Tablet works Axime-O Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Cefixime, Ofloxacin, and Lactobacillus. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Ofloxacin works by preventing the bacteria from reproducing and repairing themselves. Together, they eradicate your infection effectively. Lactobacillus is a live micro-organism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Axime-O Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Breast feeding
