Bapter 0.4 mg/4 mg Capsule is an alpha blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. This helps empty the bladder completely and reduces the need to pass urine frequently or urgently in BPH.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - Bapter 0.4 mg/4 mg Capsule may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

Pregnancy

UNSAFE - Bapter 0.4 mg/4 mg Capsule may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

CAUTION - Bapter 0.4 mg/4 mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Bapter 0.4 mg/4 mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - Bapter 0.4 mg/4 mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Bapter 0.4 mg/4 mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Bapter 0.4 mg/4 mg Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
