In Cough Biochemdryl Syrup gives relief from cough by loosening thick mucus and making it easier to cough it out. It also makes it easier for air to move in and out of your airways. This reduces the frequency of coughing and makes you feel better. Biochemdryl Syrup also relieves allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or throat irritation. Along with medications, drink enough lukewarm water and gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Biochemdryl Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Biochemdryl Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Menthol, Diphenhydramine and Ammonium Chloride which relieve cough. Menthol is an organic compound which produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation. Diphenhydramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Ammonium Chloride is an expectorant which works by decreasing the stickiness of airway secretions and helps in their removal from the airways.
UNSAFE - Biochemdryl Syrup may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Biochemdryl Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Biochemdryl Syrup is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
UNSAFE - Biochemdryl Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Biochemdryl Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Biochemdryl Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Biochemdryl Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
