How Cetra Tablet works Cetra Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol, Phenylpropanolamine and Cetirizine which relieve common cold symptoms. Paracetamol is a analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes fever and pain. Phenylpropanolamine is a sympathomimetic agonist. It narrows blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Cetra Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Cetra Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Driving
