How it works
Cloclinda-VT Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Clindamycin, Metronidazole, Clotrimazole and Lactobacillus Sporogenes which treat vaginal infections. Clindamycin is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Metronidazole is also an antibiotic which kills other infectious microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Clotrimazole is an antifungal medicine which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their protective covering. Lactobacillus Sporogenes is a live micro-organism which maintains the vaginal tract in a healthy condition by producing anti-infectious substances.
Alcohol
UNSAFE - Consuming alcohol while taking Cloclinda-VT Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).
Pregnancy

Breast feeding
CAUTION - Cloclinda-VT Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body. If a single dose of Cloclinda-VT Tablet is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.
Driving
UNSAFE - Cloclinda-VT Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Cloclinda-VT Tablet may make you feel sleepy, dizzy, confused. You may have hallucinations, fits (convulsions) or temporary eyesight problems (such as blurred or double vision) affecting your ability to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION - Cloclinda-VT Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cloclinda-VT Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION - Cloclinda-VT Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Cloclinda-VT Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
