It contains Clopidogrel, a prodrug that must be metabolised by the liver into its active form to be effective. It is indicated for adults who have experienced a recent myocardial infarction (heart attack), recent ischaemic stroke, or established peripheral arterial disease.

Grapefruit Juice: Avoid consuming large amounts of grapefruit or its juice, as it may interfere with the liver enzymes (CYP2C19) that activate Clopidogrel, potentially making the medicine less effective.

• Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs): Drugs like Omeprazole or Esomeprazole can significantly reduce the effectiveness of Clopidogrel. Use Pantoprazole or Rabeprazole if an antacid is required.
• NSAIDs: Taking ibuprofen, naproxen, or high-dose aspirin with Clopmee 75mg Tablet increases the risk of stomach ulcers and bleeding.
