Colipress Tablet

Abdominal pain

In Abdominal pain Colipress Tablet gives relief from abdominal pain and works best if they are used when the first signs of pain occur. It slows the natural movements of the gut and relaxes the muscles in the stomach and intestines. By doing this, it relieves stomach cramps and pain. Colipress Tablet also helps in easy passage of gas and thus gives relief from bloating and discomfort. Take this medicine before meals and at bedtime or as directed by your doctor.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Sleepiness, Weakness, Nausea, Dryness in mouth']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Colipress Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Colipress Tablet is a combination of three medicines. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain. Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic medication. It works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Dimethicone is an antifoaming medicine. It disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas. This how it works to treat the symptoms of abdominal pain.

If you miss a dose of Colipress Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
