Cough

In Cough Cromocet-DZ Syrup Mango gives relief from cough due to allergy by loosening thick mucus and making it easier to cough it out. This reduces the frequency of coughing and makes you feel better. It also reduces substances that cause allergy and thus relieves symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose and throat irritation. Along with medications, drink enough lukewarm water and gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Upset stomach, Tiredness, Dizziness, Sleepiness']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Cromocet-DZ Syrup Mango may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Cromocet-DZ Syrup Mango is a combination of five medicines: Cetirizine, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Menthol, Ammonium Chloride and Zinc Gluconate. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which reduces cough associated with allergies by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine). Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Menthol produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation. Ammonium Chloride is an expectorant which helps remove mucus (phlegm) from the airways. Zinc Gluconate releases zinc ions into the throat. These ions prevent the cold virus from reproducing due to which the virus dies off faster and the cold ends sooner.

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Cromocet-DZ Syrup Mango.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Cromocet-DZ Syrup Mango may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Cromocet-DZ Syrup Mango is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

UNSAFE - Cromocet-DZ Syrup Mango may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Cromocet-DZ Syrup Mango is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cromocet-DZ Syrup Mango may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

UNSAFE - Cromocet-DZ Syrup Mango is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Cromocet-DZ Syrup Mango, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
