Malaria

In Malaria Daramin 25mg Tablet is an antimalarial medicine and is used to treat malaria, a serious or life-threatening illness that is spread by a parasite that enters the human body by the bite of infected mosquitoes. It kills the infection causing parasite and stops further spread of the infection. Take it only as prescribed and refrain from taking any other medicines along with this medicine (unless advised by the doctor) as they may affect the absorption of this medicine. Do not use this medicine for treating any other condition without consulting your doctor.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Headache, Abdominal pain, Muscle pain, Abnormal bruising, Abnormal skin pigmentation, Anemia (low number of red blood cells), Change in blood test results, Diarrhea, Dizziness, Vomiting, Weakness']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Daramin 25mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Daramin 25mg Tablet is an antiparasitic medication which treats malaria. It works by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading.

Alcohol

CAUTION - Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Daramin 25mg Tablet. Please consult your doctor.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Daramin 25mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

CAUTION - Daramin 25mg Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

Driving

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether Daramin 25mg Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney

CAUTION - Daramin 25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Daramin 25mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - Daramin 25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Daramin 25mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
