Treatment of Overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms

In Treatment of Overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms Dariten OD 7.5mg Tablet PR helps to treat uncontrollable contractions (spasms) of the bladder muscles that causes frequent urination, urgent need to urinate, and inability to control passing of urine. It also relieves painful, or frequent urination and reduces urgency to urinate that may occur with some infections of the urinary tract. This way it helps manage the overactive bladder symptoms efficiently.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Dryness in mouth, Headache, Dry eye, Nasal dryness']

Use it as advised by your doctor or check the label for directions before use. Dariten OD 7.5mg Tablet PR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Dariten OD 7.5mg Tablet PR is an antimuscarinic. It works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder to prevent frequent, urgent or uncontrolled urination.

Pregnancy

Breast feeding

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Dariten OD 7.5mg Tablet PR is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving

UNSAFE - Dariten OD 7.5mg Tablet PR may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Dariten OD 7.5mg Tablet PR may cause effects such as dizziness, blurred vision, trouble sleeping or drowsiness. This may affect your driving ability.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Dariten OD 7.5mg Tablet PR is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Dariten OD 7.5mg Tablet PR is recommended. However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.

Liver

CAUTION - Dariten OD 7.5mg Tablet PR should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Dariten OD 7.5mg Tablet PR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Dariten OD 7.5mg Tablet PR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
