In Treatment of Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) DERICIP 300 RETARD TAB helps the airways in your lungs stay open. It relaxes the muscles of these airways. This makes it easier for air to get in and out. It will relieve symptoms such as tightness in your chest, shortness of breath, wheezing and coughing and help you carry out your daily activities more easily. This medicine is safe and effective. It usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Do not stop using it unless you are advised to by your doctor.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Vomiting, Headache, Restlessness']

Use it as advised by your doctor or check the label for directions before use. DERICIP 300 RETARD TAB is to be taken empty stomach. Avoid DERICIP 300 RETARD TAB with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.

DERICIP 300 RETARD TAB is a combination of two bronchodilators: Etofylline and Theophylline. They work by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widen the airways. This makes breathing easier.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with DERICIP 300 RETARD TAB.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - DERICIP 300 RETARD TAB may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - DERICIP 300 RETARD TAB is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. Avoiding breastfeeding for 2-4 hours after DERICIP 300 RETARD TAB can further decrease the exposure of medicine to the baby.

Driving

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether DERICIP 300 RETARD TAB alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - There is limited information available on the use of DERICIP 300 RETARD TAB in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - DERICIP 300 RETARD TAB should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of DERICIP 300 RETARD TAB may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of DERICIP 300 RETARD TAB, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
