This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside ear.

Dexaneo-AC Ear Drop is a combination of two medicines: Neomycin and Dexamethasone. Neomycin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Dexamethasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause redness, swelling and itching.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Dexaneo-AC Ear Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Dexaneo-AC Ear Drop is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
