DIXIN 0.5 MG INJECTION makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body and is therefore an effective treatment for heart failure. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse and should not be self-administered. This medicine will help relieve your symptoms, making you feel better and more energetic. You should make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthily and keeping active) to help this medicine be effective. In Arrhythmia DIXIN 0.5 MG INJECTION is used to stabilize heart rhythms (particularly atrial fibrillation). It helps in normalizing an abnormal heart rhythm, preventing it from occurring in the first place, or slowing down the heart rate during an episode.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Dizziness, Arrhythmia (irregular heartbeats)']

DIXIN 0.5 MG INJECTION is a cardiac glycoside. It works by correcting irregular heartbeat to a normal rhythm and increases the force with which the heart muscle contracts with every heartbeat. This makes the heart pump more efficiently and increases blood circulation throughout the body.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with DIXIN 0.5 MG INJECTION.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - DIXIN 0.5 MG INJECTION may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - DIXIN 0.5 MG INJECTION is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Driving

UNSAFE - DIXIN 0.5 MG INJECTION may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. .

Kidney

CAUTION - DIXIN 0.5 MG INJECTION should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of DIXIN 0.5 MG INJECTION may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of kidney function tests, potassium, magnesium and calcium levels is advisable while you are taking this medicine.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - DIXIN 0.5 MG INJECTION is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of DIXIN 0.5 MG INJECTION may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of DIXIN 0.5 MG INJECTION, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
