Abdominal pain

In Abdominal pain Dolokind Spas H Tablet effectively relieves sudden muscle spasms or contractions in the stomach and intestine (gut), thereby relaxing the muscles and improving movement of food. It also blocks chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain sensation. This helps to treat abdominal pain (or stomach pain) as well as cramps, bloating and discomfort. Take Dolokind Spas H Tablet as prescribed to get maximum benefit. Eventually, it will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a more active and better quality of life.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dolokind Spas H Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Dolokind Spas H Tablet is a combination of two medicines: hyoscyamine and paracetamol which relieve abdominal pain. Hyoscyamine is an anti-muscarinic which works by decreasing the gastric secretion such as mucus and acids to relax the gut muscles. By doing this, it relieves abdominal cramps and pain. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Dolokind Spas H Tablet.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Dolokind Spas H Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

CAUTION - Dolokind Spas H Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

Driving

UNSAFE - Dolokind Spas H Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. As Dolokind Spas H Tablet may cause drowsiness, dizziness or blurred vision which may impair driving.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Dolokind Spas H Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Dolokind Spas H Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Dolokind Spas H Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Dolokind Spas H Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Dolokind Spas H Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
