How it works

How Duodip Oral Suspension works Duodip Oral Suspension contains two active ingredients: paracetamol, and promethazine. These ingredients together relieve common cold symptoms. Promethazine is an antiallergic that relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever.

Duodip Oral Suspension is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Duodip Oral Suspension is recommended.However, caution is advised in patients with severe kidney disease as it may cause excessive sleepiness in them.

Duodip Oral Suspension should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Duodip Oral Suspension may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.The use of Duodip Oral Suspension is not recommended in children with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
