It also helps to manage short term symptoms such as back pain, toothache or pain in the ear and throat. Duranzo 50 mg/50 mg Tablet works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain and swelling. This medicine works quickly, usually within a few hours. Take it as it is prescribed to get the most benefit. In general, you should take the lowest dose that works, for the shortest possible time.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Vomiting, Heartburn, Indigestion, Stomach pain, Constipation, Loss of appetite, Dizziness, Sleepiness']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Duranzo 50 mg/50 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Duranzo 50 mg/50 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diclofenac and Codeine, which relieves severe pain. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Codeine is an opioid which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Duranzo 50 mg/50 mg Tablet.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Duranzo 50 mg/50 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Duranzo 50 mg/50 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

UNSAFE - Duranzo 50 mg/50 mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. As Duranzo 50 mg/50 mg Tablet may cause dizziness, blurred vision or the inability to think clearly.

Kidney

CAUTION - Duranzo 50 mg/50 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Duranzo 50 mg/50 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - Duranzo 50 mg/50 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Duranzo 50 mg/50 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Duranzo 50 mg/50 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
