In Treatment of Nausea Chemotherapy, radiotherapy, major surgeries, and abdominal infection put your child at risk of developing severe nausea and vomiting. It happens due to the release of a chemical called serotonin. Edyset Drop acts by blocking the effect of this chemical and prevents nausea and vomiting. It also helps your child to recover more comfortably from these treatments. Stick to the prescribed dose, time, and way, and do not increase or decrease the dose by yourself without consulting your child?s doctor as it may result in side effects.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Constipation, Diarrhea, Fatigue']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Edyset Drop may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

During radiotherapy, chemotherapy, abdominal infection, or any major surgeries, the dead cells in the body start releasing a chemical called serotonin directly into the blood. Later, this stimulates special centers in the body that are responsible for inducing vomiting in your child. Giving Edyset Drop just before the procedure helps block the effect of this chemical on vomiting centers of the brain and prevents vomiting.

Alcohol

SAFE - Consuming alcohol with Edyset Drop does not cause any harmful side effects.

Pregnancy

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Edyset Drop is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Edyset Drop is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

SAFE - Edyset Drop does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Edyset Drop is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Edyset Drop is recommended.

Liver

CAUTION - Edyset Drop should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Edyset Drop may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Do not panic. Give the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, you must skip the missed dose if it?s almost time for the next dose. Do not give a double dose and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.
