In Treatment of Bacterial infections : Eldoxime CV Oral Suspension helps treat infections that are caused by bacteria. It contains two medicines, Cefixime, and Clavulanic acid. Cefixime stops the growth of infection-causing bacteria. Clavulanic Acid enhances the activity of Cefixime against the bacteria as well as reduces resistance of the bacteria to the antibiotic. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all the infectious bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

How Eldoxime CV Oral Suspension works Eldoxime CV Oral Suspension is a potent antibiotic comprising two active medicines: Cefixime and Clavulanic acid. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. By doing so, this medicine stops the infection-causing bacteria from growing and prevents the infection from spreading without making the bacteria resistant to further treatment. The second ingredient, clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It reduces resistance and enhances the activity of cefixime against bacteria.
Kidney
Eldoxime CV Oral Suspension should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Eldoxime CV Oral Suspension may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
Liver
Eldoxime CV Oral Suspension is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Eldoxime CV Oral Suspension is recommended.However, consult with your child�s doctor before giving Eldoxime CV Oral Suspension to your child in case of a severe form of liver disease.
Remain calm. Unless your child�s doctor has provided specific instructions, administer the missed dose once recalled. If it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Adhere to the prescribed dosing schedule and avoid administering a double dose to compensate for the missed one.
Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C
Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection. Eldoxime CV Oral Suspension may cause a bitter taste. Eating citrus fruit or sipping plenty of water or fruit juice may help. Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect. Never give Eldoxime CV Oral Suspension until and unless prescribed by the doctor. You must also never share your child�s medicine with anyone else even if they show similar symptoms. Do not give Eldoxime CV Oral Suspension to treat common cold and flu-like symptoms caused by viruses. Never save medicine for future illnesses.
