Cefixime works by stopping the growth of bacteria and kills them. Ofloxacin prevents multiplication and repair of infection causing bacteria and prevents further spread of the infection. This combination medicine can be used to treat many different bacterial infections such as ear, sinus, throat, lung, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues. It usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Pregnancy

If a dose of Eldoxime OF 200mg/200mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat. Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it does not stop or if you find blood in your stools. Discontinue Eldoxime OF 200mg/200mg Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing. Notify your doctor if you feel pain in your tendons, numbness, or tingling sensations. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
