Enlik D 50 mg/325 mg/32.5 mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Diclofenac, Paracetamol and Dextropropoxyphene. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) as well as an antipyretic (fever reducer). Diclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID). Together, both of them work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain. Dextropropoxyphene is an opioid analgesic ( very strong pain reliever) which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower the pain perception.
UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Enlik D 50 mg/325 mg/32.5 mg Tablet.
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Enlik D 50 mg/325 mg/32.5 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Enlik D 50 mg/325 mg/32.5 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Even small doses of Enlik D 50 mg/325 mg/32.5 mg Tablet can cause infant sleepiness and decreased/altered brain function.
UNSAFE - Enlik D 50 mg/325 mg/32.5 mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Enlik D 50 mg/325 mg/32.5 mg Tablet may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.
CAUTION - Enlik D 50 mg/325 mg/32.5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Enlik D 50 mg/325 mg/32.5 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Enlik D 50 mg/325 mg/32.5 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with end stage kidney disease.
CAUTION - Enlik D 50 mg/325 mg/32.5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Enlik D 50 mg/325 mg/32.5 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Enlik D 50 mg/325 mg/32.5 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
