It also manages the symptoms of diarrhea such as stomach pain, cramps, loose stools and helps in easy passage of gas. Enterosulphazyme Plus Tablet is taken with food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, flatulence, stomach pain, fatigue and constipation. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine may also cause dizziness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

Enterosulphazyme Plus Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Diloxanide, tinidazole and simethicone. Diloxanide is a luminal amoebicide which acts inside the intestines to kill the infection-causing microorganisms (amoeba). Diloxanide is combined with tinidazole in case of severe intestinal infections. Tinidazole is an antibiotic which kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
Alcohol
UNSAFE - Consuming alcohol while taking Enterosulphazyme Plus Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).
Pregnancy
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Enterosulphazyme Plus Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby.
