Treatment of Dry cough

In Treatment of Dry cough A dry cough is a cough where no phlegm or mucus is produced. It may cause a tickling sensation or itching in the throat and may be due to cold, flu, allergies or throat irritants. Exiliq Syrup suppresses severe dry cough and gives your child relief from an itchy throat. Along with medications, drinking lukewarm water and gargling with warm salt water may also help ease symptoms for your child.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Nausea, Diarrhea, Drowsiness, Headache, Loss of appetite, Skin rash']

Exiliq Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, dextromethorphan, and cetirizine which relieve dry cough. Ambroxol is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing.
