In Treatment of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) is a highly infectious disease that is caused by a strain of a virus called coronavirus. The most common symptoms are fever, cough, loss of taste or smell, breathing difficulty, nasal congestion, and diarrhea among others. Fabixa 800mg Tablet is used to manage these symptoms in mildly to moderately infected individuals and helps you recover from the infection. Fabixa 800mg Tablet should be taken only if prescribed by a doctor. If you think you have come in contact with a person who has been infected with Covid-19, or if you feel any of these symptoms, consult your doctor immediately.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Diarrhea, Decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils), Increased liver enzymes']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Fabixa 800mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Fabixa 800mg Tablet is an antiviral medicine. It stops the SARS-CoV-2 virus from multiplying. By doing so, it decreases viral load in the body, restricts the spread of infection and helps in speeding up the recovery process.

Alcohol

Pregnancy

UNSAFE - Fabixa 800mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

Breast feeding

UNSAFE - Fabixa 800mg Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.

Driving

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether Fabixa 800mg Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney

CAUTION - Fabixa 800mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Fabixa 800mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - Fabixa 800mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Fabixa 800mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Fabixa 800mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
