FO-Suz Injection is an antibiotic medicine used to treat bacterial infections in your body. It is effective in some infections of the urinary tract, lungs (eg. pneumonia), bones, brain (eg. meningitis), and blood. However, it is only used when other common antibiotics cannot be used.FO-Suz Injection should be taken regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. The dose will depend on what you are being treated for, but you should always complete a full course of this antibiotic as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking it until you have finished, even when you feel better. If you stop taking it early, some bacteria may survive and the infection may come back.The most common side effects of this medicine include headache, dizziness, indigestion, and gastrointestinal disturbances. Alcohol
Caution: It is important to consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking FO-Suz Injection .
Pregnancy
FO-Suz Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Breast feeding
FO-Suz Injection is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Driving
FO-Suz Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
FO-Suz Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of FO-Suz Injection may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
Liver
There is limited information available on the use of FO-Suz Injection in patients with liver disease. Doctor consultation is advised.

FO-Suz Injection is used for the treatment of bacterial infections when use of other common medicines is considered inappropriate. It is given as an injection into a vein by your doctor or nurse. FO-Suz Injection may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. Your doctor may regularly monitor the level of electrolytes in your blood. A low-sodium diet is recommended during treatment.
