It works by producing antibodies against foreign substances thereby fighting against infection. It is also used to increase the blood count (platelets) in persons with a certain blood disorder (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura-ITP). This helps stop bleeding and promote the formation of blood clots.

CAUTION - Gamma I.V. 500mg Injection should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
UNSAFE - Gamma I.V. 500mg Injection may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. You may experience side effects (for example dizziness or nausea) during Gamma I.V. 500mg Injection that might affect the ability to drive.
CAUTION - Gamma I.V. 500mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Gamma I.V. 500mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
