In Immunoglobulins deficiency Gamma I.V. 5gm Infusion strengthens or boost the immune system and lower the risk of infection in persons with a weakened immune system. It works by producing antibodies against foreign substances thereby fighting against infection. It is also used to increase the blood count (platelets) in persons with a certain blood disorder (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura-ITP). This helps stop bleeding and promote the formation of blood clots.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them.
