You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it. Take a fiber-rich diet, avoid oily or spicy food and drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated. Some simple lifestyle changes can help stop or reduce bloating. Think about what foods trigger bloating and try to avoid them; eat smaller, more frequent meals; try to lose weight if you are overweight and try to find ways to relax. Do not eat within 3 to 4 hours of going to bed.

Gastromax O Syrup is a combination of four medicines: Oxetacaine, Aluminium Hydroxide, Magnesium and Simethicone. Oxetacaine is a local anesthetic which provides fast relief from pain due to ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach on account of its numbing effect. Aluminium Hydroxide and Magnesium are antacids which neutralize excess acid in stomach. Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.

If you miss a dose of Gastromax O Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
