In Pain due to muscle spasm Glx MR Plus 8 mg/8 mg Tablet treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. Glx MR Plus 8 mg/8 mg Tablet works quickly, usually within a few hours and the maximum benefit can take 2 to 4 weeks or sometimes longer. Take it as prescribed. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Vomiting, Diarrhea, Stomach pain, Indigestion']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Glx MR Plus 8 mg/8 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Glx MR Plus 8 mg/8 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Lornoxicam and Thiocolchicoside which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Lornoxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Glx MR Plus 8 mg/8 mg Tablet.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Glx MR Plus 8 mg/8 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

Driving

UNSAFE - Glx MR Plus 8 mg/8 mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Glx MR Plus 8 mg/8 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Glx MR Plus 8 mg/8 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - Glx MR Plus 8 mg/8 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Glx MR Plus 8 mg/8 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Glx MR Plus 8 mg/8 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
