Griluto 600mg Tablet CR is a prescription medicine used in the long-term treatment of asthma. It helps to control and prevent symptoms like breathlessness and wheezing seen in asthma. This helps you to carry out your daily activities. Griluto 600mg Tablet CR should be taken with food within one hour after your morning and evening meals. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Swallow the tablets whole with a drink of water. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. It does not prevent sudden asthma attack or attack that is already initiated, hence always carry fast-acting emergency inhaler prescribed by your doctor. The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, throat pain, stomach upset, and abdominal pain. There are other, rarer side effects which can be serious. Talk to your doctor if you are worried about them. Inform your doctor if you notice tiredness, lack of energy, itching, yellow skin or yellowing of eyes, and dark urine. Your doctor might monitor your liver functioning while on treatment. Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease, or you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. In general, alcohol is not recommended while on treatment with this medicine.
