INSTREL GEL is a pain relieving medicine. It is used in the treatment of pain and inflammation. It helps relieve pain and swelling in postoperative wounds and other inflammatory diseases. INSTREL GEL is for external use only. It may be prescribed alone or in combination with other medicines. You should use it as advised by your doctor. You should not use it on skin which is broken, bruised, or blistered. If it gets into your eyes, nose, or mouth, vagina, immediately rinse with plenty of water. The medicine is well-tolerated with little or no side effects. However, if you experience any side effects which you feel is caused by the medicine, let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms. Although medicines used on the skin are not normally affected by other medicines you should let your doctor know if you are taking any other medicine to be safe. Ask your doctor for advice if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How it works
INSTREL GEL is a combination of three medicines: Tramadol, Paracetamol and Serratiopeptidase. Tramadol is an opoid analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception. Paracetamol is an analgesic and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and fever. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme which works by breaking down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation, and promotes healing.
Pregnancy
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - INSTREL GEL may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Breast feeding

What If You Forget to take INSTREL GEL?
If you miss a dose of INSTREL GEL, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
