In Treatment of Skin infections INTADERM PLUS 10 GM is a combination of medicines used to treat skin infections caused by microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi. It works by killing and stopping the growth of infection-causing microorganisms, thereby clearing the infection and relieving the symptoms. It also blocks the release of chemicals that cause symptoms such as itching, redness, and swelling. Therefore this medicine also relieves the inflammation due to these infections. You should use this medicine for as long as it is prescribed, even if your symptoms disappear, otherwise they may come back. Depending on the type of infection you are treating, this may be several weeks. Even after your skin is completely cured, you may have to apply it occasionally to prevent the symptoms from returning.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Thinning of skin, Burning sensation at the site of application, Irritation']

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

INTADERM PLUS 10 GM is a combination of four medicines: Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Clobetasol, Miconazole and Neomycin. Chlorhexidine Gluconate is an antiseptic which effectively cleans out the affected area of skin to prevent infection. Clobetasol is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Miconazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi while Neomycin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria that cause skin infections. Together, they treat your skin infection effectively.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - INTADERM PLUS 10 GM may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - INTADERM PLUS 10 GM is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

If you miss a dose of INTADERM PLUS 10 GM, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
