In Prevention of Blood clots Integrilin Injection prevents new blood clots from forming and prevents the existing ones from getting bigger. It works by blocking a substance in the body which is involved in blood clotting. Thus it helps your blood flow smoothly throughout the body. This can help reduce damage caused by clots in your lungs (pulmonary embolism), brain (stroke), heart (heart attack) or other blood vessels (thrombosis). In Prevention of Heart attack It prevents blood from clotting inside the veins and arteries. This helps the blood flow freely around your body thereby preventing a heart attack or stroke (or deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism). Follow your doctor?s instructions carefully and make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthy and staying active) to maximize the effectiveness of this medicine.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Decreased blood pressure']

Integrilin Injection is an antiplatelet medication. It works by preventing the platelets from sticking together, thereby decreasing the formation of harmful blood clots.

Alcohol

Pregnancy

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Integrilin Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breast feeding

CAUTION - Integrilin Injection should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

Driving

NOT RELEVANT - Not relevant, as Integrilin Injection is intended for use in hospitalised patients.

Kidney

CAUTION - Integrilin Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Integrilin Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Integrilin Injection is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - There is limited information available on the use of Integrilin Injection in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor. Use of Integrilin Injection is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

If you miss a dose of Integrilin Injection, please consult your doctor.

Store in a refrigerator (2 - 8°C). Do not freeze.
