In Angina (heart-related chest pain) Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body and makes sure that your heart is getting a good supply of oxygen. This makes it less likely that you will suffer chest pain caused by angina. This medicine can help increase your ability to exercise and go about your daily life more easily by reducing the frequency of angina attacks. You should take it regularly and as long as it is prescribed for it to work effectively.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Tiredness, Abnormal dreams, Cold extremities, Luminous phenomena (Enhanced brightness), Blurred vision']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ivabradine and Metoprolol Succinate. They work by reducing the heart rate and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

UNSAFE - Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet may cause transient luminous phenomena. This should be taken into account especially when driving at night.

Kidney

CAUTION - Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Limited information is available for use of Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver

CAUTION - Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ivabrad M 5mg/25mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
