Treatment of Dry cough

In Treatment of Dry cough A dry cough, also termed a non-productive cough, is a reflex action of our body in an attempt to clear out air passage. There is usually no mucus production in such cases. It is commonly associated with allergic conditions such as the common cold and hay fever. Kidylinctus Z Syrup suppresses severe dry cough as well as allergic symptoms like runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes, congestion, and renders relief.

Kidylinctus Z Syrup contains three active medicines: Promethazine, Pholcodine, and Phenylephrine. These work together and provide relief from dry cough associated with allergic reactions. Promethazine is an antiallergic. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) which triggers cough caused due to allergy. Pholcodine is a cough suppressant. It suppresses cough by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that narrows the small blood vessels, providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.
