How it works
Kolibitor Solution for Infusion is a combination of two antibiotics: Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim. These antibiotics work by preventing the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Kolibitor Solution for Infusion is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Kolibitor Solution for Infusion is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. There may be a possibility of skin rash in the baby.
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether Kolibitor Solution for Infusion alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
CAUTION - Kolibitor Solution for Infusion should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Kolibitor Solution for Infusion may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Kolibitor Solution for Infusion is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
