You may experience fewer episodes of low mood. It can take several weeks for this medicine to work and you may still feel low during this time. It is likely that you will take this medicine for at least six months but possibly much longer. It needs to be taken regularly to work effectively. Do not stop taking it unless your doctor advises you to. You should continue to eat well and keep fit to reduce symptoms of bipolar disorder.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. You have been prescribed Kolzep Plus 20 mg/5 mg Tablet for the treatment of bipolar disorder with depression. Take it in the evening�as it can make you feel sleepy. It may take 4 to 6 weeks to experience the full benefits of the medication. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. It may cause increase in weight, blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglycerides (fat). Eat healthy and exercise regularly. Talk to your doctor if you notice sudden mood changes or develop suicidal thoughts.
