It works by reducing substances in the body that causes pain. Taking Kortyl 650mg/65mg Tablet will reduce discomfort associated with the above painful conditions and make you feel better. Take Kortyl 650mg/65mg Tablet by mouth as directed by your doctor, usually every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain relief.

Kortyl 650mg/65mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Paracetamol and Dextropropoxyphene. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain. Dextropropoxyphene is an opioid analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception.

Pregnancy

Driving

Kidney
CAUTION - Kortyl 650mg/65mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Kortyl 650mg/65mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Kortyl 650mg/65mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION - Kortyl 650mg/65mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Kortyl 650mg/65mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Kortyl 650mg/65mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
