L Grip Capsule is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome (symptoms include abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, and diarrhea or constipation). It prevents the sudden spasm of muscles to relieve stomach pain and cramps. It also promotes easy passage of gas to reduce stomach discomfort. L Grip Capsule is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. The most common side effects are nausea, dryness in mouth, constipation, bloating, blurred vision, weakness, and nervousness. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. How it works
L Grip Capsule is a combination of four medicines: Dicyclomine, Loperamide and Lactobacillus Sporogenes. Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic which works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). In doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Loperamide is an opioid agonist which works by decreasing contraction of the intestines making the stools more solid and less frequent. Lactobacillus Sporogenes is a live microorganism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset due to intestinal infections.

Pregnancy
