Lectimox Dry Syrup is also given for several infections that are suspected to be caused by the bacteria but the type of bacteria is not known (empirical therapy). Usually, children start to feel better within 2-3 days of regular dosing. Make sure to finish the recommended course of the medicine as stopping the medicine abruptly may lead to ineffective treatment or worsen your child?s condition.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Complete the entire course of antibiotics without stopping the medicine in between. Doing so may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection. Conditions like the common cold and flu are caused by viruses. Never use this medicine for such conditions. Give Lectimox Dry Syrup to your child only for their current infection. Avoid storing the medicine for future use as it is impossible to judge whether the same medicine would work for any future illnesses. Stop this medicine and immediately report to your child�s doctor in case your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulties while taking this medicine.
