In Treatment of Hyperpigmentation Hyperpigmentation means abnormal darkening of skin, usually in patches. It occurs when an excess of melanin, the brown pigment that produces normal skin color, forms deposits in the skin. Lite UP Cream reduces these melanin deposits, lightens skin tone and helps restore normal color of the skin. It also helps to protect the skin from damage by ultraviolet rays of the sun and prevents sunburns. This improves your self-esteem and confidence as your appearance changes. You should always use it as prescribed and only apply the amount you have been told to. Keep using it for as long as it is prescribed to get the full benefits.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Burning sensation at the site of application']

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Lite UP Cream is a combination of three medicines: Hydroquinone, Octinoxate, and Benzophenone. Hydroquinone is a skin lightening medicine. It reduces the amount of a skin pigment (melanin) that causes darkening of skin. This effect is reversible. Octinoxate and Benzophenone are organic compounds which work by absorbing ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun, protecting the skin from damage.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Lite UP Cream may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Lite UP Cream is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

If you miss a dose of Lite UP Cream, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
