Pain relief

In Pain relief Lornidase P Tablet relieves pain, reduce swelling and ease inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. It gives relief from muscle and back pain, or pain in the ear and throat. Lornidase P Tablet is also used for the management of pain in patients after dental surgery. It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain and swelling. By reducing pain, it improves the quality of your life. Lornidase P Tablet also reduces fever associated with the above painful conditions. This medicine also contains an active ingredient called Serratiopeptidase, which is an enzyme that promotes the overall healing process and speeds up recovery.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Vomiting, Diarrhea, Stomach pain, Indigestion']

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lornidase P Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Lornidase P Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Lornoxicam, Paracetamol and Serratiopeptidase which relieve pain. Lornoxicam is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme which works by breaking down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation, and promotes healing.

Alcohol

UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Lornidase P Tablet.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Lornidase P Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Information regarding the use of Lornidase P Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.

Driving

UNSAFE - Lornidase P Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Lornidase P Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Lornidase P Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION - Lornidase P Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lornidase P Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. However, the use of Lornidase P Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If you miss a dose of Lornidase P Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
